The Huld Manuscript 

The Huld Manuscript was written in 1847 by Geir Vigfússon. It contains galdrastafir such as ‘Vegvísir’ and the ‘Sventhorn’.

The Galdrabók

The Galdrabók was written in c. 1600 CE by three Icelandic scribes, and one Dane. It includes galdrastafir such as Ægishjálmr (popularly known as ‘The Helm of Awe’).

Leifar

Written in Reykjavík by Þorsteinn Konráðsson, 1934, this makes it one of the youngest manuscripts in this collection. It’s not as popular as say, The Huld Manuscript, but inside there are loads of interesting galdrastafir!

Written by an unknown author, it’s suspected this manuscript was written between c. 1475 and c. 1525.
